Ollie Jackson Cobb

I am a graphic artist with over 15 years of experience in the field, from production to design.

After first graduating from the Art Institute of Dallas with an associate degree, I worked for an apparel company where I quickly was bestowed the responsibility of handling all artwork delivered to the factory. I also became the daily voice of the company with the factory. After the company relocated, I worked for a publishing company processing art and files for production. I eventually relocated to San Francisco to attend The Academy of Art, studying graphic design. While there I worked for a reprographics company, handling all color printing, large and small format, color correction, and special design needs. Wanting to continue my degree pursuit, I moved back to Dallas to finish my bachelor program at The Art Institute, and went to work for the publishing company once again as a designer, conducting workshops with high schools all across the nation.

I am open minded, easy going, and am happy to help in any way I can. My approach to design is clarity first, and the rest will fall into place. If the message isn't clear, then what's the point? Intrigue and tension can be sought after, but only if the message makes sense in the end. Beauty and conflict go hand-in-hand in good design, that is the key to captivation.
